On May 6th and 7th, East Coast Customs got together to host the 4th annual Southeastern Nationals in Jacksonville, Florida. To kick off the 2000-show season the Southeastern Nat’s was held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds, lying in the shadows of Alltel Stadium. On Saturday, many of the rides showed up before sun up to get the best spot possible. After polishing and detailing everything possible, participants spent most of the day checking out not only their competition but also all the T&A running around the fairgrounds and also browsing through the various vendors. While we were all having fun, the staff was hard at work judging more than 250 vehicles. As Sunday rolled around many show goers didn't show up nearly as early as they did Saturday due to the late night of drinking, partying, and cruising. Sunday’s festivities included club games, a hydraulic demo put on by DG Hydraulics, and what would a car show be without a bikini contest. Before everyone knew it, it was time to hand out the trophies and cash prizes. Every year this show gets bigger and bigger and next year should be no different
