Starting off as a 1-ton farm vehicle from South Dakota, Mark decided to put forth the $2000 to purchase this soon to be tow rig. With out even seeing the vehicle before purchasing it, the decision was to fix it up to his liking and leave it parked at the Lake Havasu airport to be used to tow the "soon to be" paint matched boat to the lake. Well, what started as a quick paint job and a few replaced panels would soon be found hitting the show scene and not at the airport as originally thought.

Now for Mark, customizing this 69 Chevy 3-door Suburban was found to be fairly easy. Although it took 2 years of work and lots of money, for this Body Shop owner it would come second nature. After all, when you are raised in the garage and involved with one scene for 28 years the only thing you know how to do is to turn vehicles, which are in a wrecked status into pimp status.

Beginning the process, the exterior of the Suburban needed many new panels and lots of attention. To begin the process, Mark decided to swap out the '69 front clip with a '68 for a little change up. After ditching the '69 hood, grille, fenders and front bumper, the search was on for new panels.

Many junkyards later and the search had came to an end. Although not all of the newfound '68 panels where straight, it was enough for Mark to be able to work with. For instance, the hood, which Mark picked up, was folded in half but with his masterful knowledge of bodywork, the hood now accompanies a pimp front clip on a trick Suburban.
