First, Eric installed the typical lowering components to bring Nelson's dually down a little closer to the pavement. Up front, DJM 3" spindles were installed in place of the factory units. The factory springs were tossed in the garbage and Eric installed a set of Firestone 26C airbags in their place. In the rear, DJM shackles and hangers now take the place of the Chevy models, and a super C-notch was built, housing the Firestone 26C airbags for the much desired lift Nelson was looking for.

To keep the ride smooth at all four corners, Eric installed Monroe Sensatrac shocks. Finally, Eric used 3/8" MAC valves in conjunction with 3/8" line and nitrogen to lift the massive truck with the flick of a switch. Nelson also had a custom tweed wrap made, which neatly covers the unsightly bare nitrogen bottle in the bed.

KUSTOMWERKS then took the next step in their hands and performed a 4 5/8" body drop on Nelson's dually, laying the beast firmly against the pavement. With the stance complete, Nelson moved to the next round of work.
