2. Once the emblems are removed you'll then need to remove the lock. The tricky part is getting the lock bar off of the lock itself. 3. Next you will need to remove the inner taillights by removing 4 bolts from each light and unplugging the light itself. With my model, the chrome strip above the license plate needed removed along with the lights for the license plate.

 4. Once everything is removed you will then need to grind the paint away from the metal in the areas that you intend on welding up.
