When a local car club I've hung around for several years throws a show for the first time, I had to make sure I was there to cover it for them. That's exactly what I did when Grounded threw their first annual car show in Asheville, NC. After gathering up the wife and kid, we headed down to the local Penske Service Center parking lot to check out the show. It was the first show we took our little girl to. We spent most of the time running after her while she's laughing at us! LOL By the time we made it to the show, the crew from Grounded had already started making their rounds to get the judging started. While the car show judging was being done, a local stereo shop, Car Tunz, was having a sound off. We spent most of the day their walking around and talking to some of the local guys I don't get to see much. It's always fun covering a show in your hometown. The Grounded crew did a good job organizing the show and making sure all the judging was done fair. I'd recommend making it to one of their shows if you can get to the area.
