To start off I got up real early to wait for my brother and friends to show up so we can role out to the show. Just like good friends they didn't show (Josh, Ryan, and Kris) I knew I had to get out there early just so I can park close and not spend the day walking to the fairgrounds. As I was cruising to the show (by myself) it was like a little car show on the Freeway. There was tricked out old schools and trucks throughout the ride there. Finally I get there and receive a phone call from one of our members from VC, so we meet up, we get everything set up and stated to cruise the show. Its 8:00 a.m. and there is already so much to see. This Good Guys show Over 2,000 rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, street machines & trucks. Both spectators and enthusiasts are treated to all years, makes & models, lifted, lowered trucks, Laid out old schools, Tricked out cars. Street Machines, Rods and Customs with no restricted access, people can get up close to see there favorite rides right in front of their eyes! There was under construction and best SUV just to name a few awards. There was candy colored, graphics, flamed, you name it was there. There was over 40 outdoor show and shine awards. Good luck to everyone.

A lot younger adults are starting to attend these shows. Just can't party like a minitruck show though? Some of the crew that's was in attendance was Café racer, Vertically-Challenged, Street Dreamz, Lift Kit warehouse brought out there monster rides. F.B.I rolled out with there newer golf cart, (also thanks for talking care of me guys.) As the day goes on it gets hotter and hotter. Some of the rides hurt to look at cause of the bling bling. There was a huge swap meet and cars for sale. There were vendors and manufacturer exhibits, so if you need a part for the custom rod or street truck you could find it there. There was a place for the little kids to get there grove on at the jumping houses. If you wanted to camp out you could. Maybe next time I will camp out with the older generation to see how they party. Awards time came around. I knew the day was coming to an end. I was burnt from head to toe, needed some sun block and water. But I had fun hanging with everyone, talking about rides and how much power some of them. Well I just want to say congrats to the winners of the awards. Until next time keep it low and drive it slow.Ken Subia Jr.VCbodydroptaco@aol.com
