The way I see it...
How ya'll is? I'll be damned if it isn't just the beginning of June, and here in the Lone Star State we've already had a 100 degree day. Big deal you say...well, it was humid as hell that day too, so lick muh big toe, sucka!
Anyhow, another Showfest has come and gone, and I didn't get to make it again this year, in spite of all my careful planning and saving....well, actually it was more like, "I'm goin'", "I ain't going'" and so on and so forth. From the pics I've seen and the stories I've heard, it was one helluva show! I have already started planning for next year thhough, and it will be different, I will be there and hopefully *YardArt will make it too.
Now on to more crap that I like to call my thoughts... An opportunity presented itself to me back in April, and as of Memorial Day, I am no longer a night tripper, I am officially a day walker again. Now I have to do about a months training and learn so much crap that I really feel like I am back in sophomore honors biology...a subject that I barely remember. Lot of good that did me, huh? The only thing that I will miss about working nights will be staying up and chatting in the chatroom nearly every night...but, if ya really need to get ahold of me, you know where I am!
I have to get something off of my chest now. After almost a year of seeing her looking at me forlornly and after several failed attempts at finding her a new home, the D50 will be rising from it's grassy knoll in my backyard and it will be receiving a new lease on life. And while I am on this vein, I finally figured out what to call it, Yard Art. I came up with this name because I was told that if it didn't get moved soon, it was going to wind up just being more crap in the yard, like those yard art places in Mississippi and Alabama...and the name kinda stuck.
Well, I have officially run out of things to say for now, but we all know that won't last for long, unfortunately... If you have or know where I can find a lower valance, a full phantom grille or a 97 Mighty Max urethane bumper, let me know...gotta start gathering parts!
Until next month, keep your wheels spinnin' and the beavers grinnin'..I am owta here...
