This show is one I'm always willing to drive to. With pretty much everyone getting along great and with the camping on the grounds this show turns into one big happy party. With a number of people off of the site talking about heading in on Thursday for the extra day of partying, there would be a number of us from Idaho with the same idea. On our trip down we would pass up the Idaho ST chapter about 2-3 hours out of town and then run into Visions from Spokane a couple hours from the show. With running into a number of rides already we’d be anxious to see what the show grounds had in store. As we arrived into the show grounds there was a few clubs with camp already set up like RA, ST, Class Act and many others. We decided to hit the hotel to take a quick nap before getting our drink on. With a nap in, we proceeded to the grounds where we would start in on the RA jungle juice and stroll the grounds introducing Ronnie from Phlat Out to many guys at the show. On our ventures we’d go visit the crew from Tattoo Betty’s and I’d set up an appointment with Renee to get some more ink done. With the work applied we’d move on to the show grounds as more people arrived which meant more alcohol to drink before finally heading back to the hotel to sleep for the night.Friday we’d get up early and meet up with Ronnie, Sunshine and Devin with his family and we’d all head to the beach to check out the Oregon coast. With all the fun in the sun, a good seafood meal and many beaches visited we’d head back to the show to see how many new rides had arrived. Too much of our surprise much of the grounds where taken and more people were pulling in. Once again the RA jungle juice was game on! With the nightlife booming we’d mingle around and meet up with many of the RA, ST and Visions crew along with many others. Mike from Minitruckin’, John from Sport Truck along with Oliver from Domination the video where on hand from the sunny states to join in the fun as well. The night would be long but the party would go by way to fast.

As Saturday arrived it was time to get up and head to the show. As we arrived to the grounds we’d find a number of new vehicles since we were last there at 3am. I’d proceed to gather my bag and head on my way gathering coverage. I had to hurry as I had another appointment to get more ink work done at noon (figured it would be a good way to kill some terrible light). Just before putting the ink to the arm there was an unexpected visit that would delay the tat for a short time, so after coloring in all my other tats on the arm I got out a little late so I had to rush the rest of the coverage and then go out gathering features. One ride that stood out was an ’05 Dodge Magnum bagged on 22’s with paint and all. After doing shoots we’d eat, get cleaned up and back to the show for the bikini/naked contest. As the contest got on the way only one chick named Mindy would get fully naked to help raise the bar on what the others would need to do in order to get the $500 pot. With mic in hand Gil would give the girls an ultimatum of getting off the stage or getting naked; with them doing neither my wife would proceed to strip the remaining 4 girls of their cloths making things worth watching after all. As the party moved outside the night would eventually come to a close and trophies would be shortly arriving in the morning.This show would be one well worth driving to if you’ve never been to it. There is plenty of naked-ness around the grounds, plenty of alcohol, dragging and club challenges to get involved with. Hell you can even get some ink done by some badass artists to help occupy your time. I suggest you all hit it up next year, as I know I’ll be there!By Garrick Arends
