With the bodywork completed it was time for the crew at Saylor’s to apply the paint. Mike would have them apply a Turquoise PPG paint that would be applied inside and out. Saylor’s Shop of Messhoppen, PA would be responsible for the paint and body modifications.

With the exterior complete Mike would then turn his attention to the interior. For starters the dash would be shaved of the glove box along with some of the vents. Once smoothed, it would be wrapped in turquoise vinyl.

The door panels would then be shaved of the handles along with the armrests. Smoothed to his liking, the doors would be wrapped in white and turquoise vinyl material. The headliner would need to be wrapped in white vinyl and the visors would be removed from the roof location to continue the smooth appearance.
