Along with being a good guy, Arami’s Chevy Astro Van has a very interesting story of how it came about. Arami was in the market for a new project a few years back and ran across a gold mine. For sale he found an under construction ’87 Chevy Astro that had been body dropped by the now infamous Crazy Customs. In fact, it was only the second Astro Van done by the shop, second only to Craig Elder’s wickedly graphic’d out Astro. Arami could not pass on the vehicle. So he scooped up the ride, and that is when the truck became Arami’s daily driver.

Now ask anyone who has driven a body dropped vehicle as their daily driver, dependability is the keyword and a lot of vehicles lack it. So Arami when to making sure the truck was as dependable as it was low, so he runs Slam Specialties on every corner and makes sure his air supply is keep constant by two Viair 325 compressors. Overall the truck has a 2.75-inch body drop. The whole truck moves down the road tripping over a set of 18 inch Boyd Coddington Shadows.
