Yet another year in Houston, TX and another year gone by where I say to myself “damn I’d hate to deal with this heat and humidity in the summer months!”. Haha With all jokes aside Texas Showdown is always a great event to go to year in year out and now with it being an established 2 day event it should only get bigger with each passing year.For those of you that have never been to a show down in the Houston or surrounding area are missing out on some of the sickest rides in our scene. With a 50+-mile radius of some of the sickest rides out there today Texas Showdown typically brings the majority of them out. Not only is there a ton to look at as far as show rides on the grounds, there is plenty to do. Everything from live entertainment on the stage to a bikini contest there is sure to be something for everyone.This years event was nothing shy of great as it is better and better with each year that I have attended and Daryl does a great job of trying to make things run smoothly with each passing show. I’m sure next years event will be just as good or better and if you’ve never been then I suggest checking it out at least once, because once you’ve gone I’m sure you’ll continue to attend.By Garrick Arends
