Once he was satisfied with the new stance of his ride, he moved on to the exterior of the truck and once again called on the crew at Motion 3. They started by building a custom one off hood, shaving all of the non essentials such as door handles, hood pissers, and antenna. Once they got around to the rear of the truck they shaved the steps, taillights and the tailgate handle, welded in a custom roll pan combo and flush mounted a set of LED taillights in the tail gate. When they moved in to the bed of the truck, they wanted to create something to compliment the custom back half. They installed 2 dimensional sheet metal bed floor and utilized stock sonoma wheel tubs to give it a clean look and to house the custom made 20 gallon stainless steel gas tank. They knew the look of the old tank and compressor setup wouldn’t cut it so scrapped it and they contacted Tom at Lowrider Depot to up the brand new Dual OB2 Air Zenith compressor kit and a new custom painted tank to match the shiny black frame and suspension. When it came time to finish up the body work and add some color, Brendan called upon Dan at D&H truck refinishing in Delaware county Pa to finish he body work and lay down the lexus pearl white paint. Since getting the truck back in his possesion, Brendan has been attending shows up and down the east coast enjoying his truck and making plans for future modifications. As you read this he is currently working on a full custom interior, adding a custom stereo system and giving the engine bay some love to finish up the truck, at least for now, so keep an eye out for B at a show near you.
