With a few drinks down and hunger erupting, it was time to head out with ES to get some grub. After the food was gone and the crazy-ness of flying paper was over, it was time to head back to race some carts. Oh, and to the guy that slipped me the dish of ice cream over the wall while we were waiting in line to get in the restaurant…. Thanks man!
Well, with about twice as many people with us to race carts this time compared to the last we new as well as the workers of the complex, all hell was going to break loose! Previously having put the faster carts out of commission meant only that we'd have to race twice as hard in order to be the best man on the track. With the start of our race, we run for our carts to get ready for some drag'em out racin'! With the green we are off and bumping was already starting before turn one. Like before, with each corner people were being spun around while others would take care of them head on with some neck whipping hits. I remember coming out of turn 2 heading into 3 as Daniel was rubbed in the rear left and put hard into the wall. His cart must have come off the ground a good 18 inches. Now that is some goooooood lift! Haha…. As the race came to an end and the carts where driving back to the pits for us to get out, we hear the scream of "18 and 24, you guys are out of here!!" As I look at the number of my cart, I come to notice that Huppie from ES and myself had been thrown off the premises forever. Our racing skills were like non other and became un-appreciated by the manager and his workers. Oh well Huppie, we'll get back in there with a new identity next year!
As Sunday comes, it was time to attempt a feature and finish shooting the show. There weren't many more rides that I hadn't seen so I pulled Pat of ES away and shot his ride then just hung out till we headed out back to Philly. I had a killer time at Carlisle and I'm looking forward to returning next year for some more Amish fun.
