First come first serve is how I'd like to know John Shepherd of Harwood, MD. Like many of us diehards in the scene, our first ride is our stepping stone for greatness, but it is rare for those in the scene to step into things with such a grasp on "what's cool" like John has. Back in June of 1997 John would pick up his first ride, a 1996 Chevy S-10 for $10,000, which would be worthy of building. Three years later and many more duckets, John would find himself curled around pimp status and amongst the award winners from show to show. Being brought up in the scene through his friends, John learned to build his ride for the pure enjoyment of mini-trucks.
