 Now to the bed, a Sir Michaels steel roll pan would be welded and molded into the bed panels helping smooth out the rear.  The tailgate handle would then be shaved and a Fastback fiberglass flush mount tonneau cover would be installed to cover the Alter Images C-notch cover. A set of Euro clear taillights help set things off.

   With the body now at a satisfying stage in the game, John dropped his transforming S-10 off to Bud Davis of Davidsonville, MD. While in Bud's hands, the final prep work would be done before laying down the Dupont chrome base Inferno Red paint. Once laid out, Bud would then start laying down 4 different layers of Ghost flames that can be found through out the exterior in shades of purple, blue and silver.
