Next, the frame is outlined in masking tape so that the pencil will show up when he outlines the opening. Make sure that you measure twice and only cut once. This is critical when cutting a large hole in your roof.  A pilot hole must be drilled in order to insert the electric sheers that will cut the rest of the roof opening.

Not sure what was happening here, my eyes were shut! Actually, John had it under control. He is making the initial cut in the roof.  Here, he is continuing with the initial hole in the roof. This is the view from the inside.  After test fitting the frame, John trims a few areas for a nice snug fit.
