Texas Heat Wave
Texas Heat Wave
Once again properly named as thousands and thousands of show goers raided coolers for anything thirst quenching and cold. For myself, Chas and other friends we found ourselves in the MA Audio enclosed trailer most often then not sitting in the nice cool air conditioning.
As I slept in Saturday morning, Chas managed to cover most of the event before I had arrived. And thank god. This year's show was SO big that we felt like we walked around all day long for 5 days (even though the show was only 2 days long...haha) and still didn't see everything. There were plenty of vendors to visit and to see what projects are out on the scene with crazy ideas. Rides like the body dropped H2 on 24's and 2-door new body style Tahoe (old body style with new front clip and body lines) done by the crew from Ekstensive Metal Works. There was also a couple of S10's with Navigator front clips and a ride with an old school something front end.
After you were tired of looking at all of the badass rides, there were plenty of boobies walking around. Seems like every female there was wearing a bikini top. Most booths had models to help draw some attention as most shows do.
As for the night, most of ST, NC and RA spent their time hanging out at the Red Lion till 5 in the morning (hence the reason I slept in… haha). With Pincushion hitting people with the taser and others just playing grab ass it was definitely a good ol' time seeing peeps that I only get to see usually once a year. Also I'd like to give a big huge thanks to Jim and Kim Dosier for giving me a place to stay and to Cotter for picking my lame ass up from the airport.

P.S. I asked Chas to write this but he is reserving his almighty energy of writing for some upcoming features (lame excuse) so I was forced to write this last second, hence the short write up leaving LOTS of shit out that should probably be in here. For those of you I didn't mention, sorry…. Kick Chas in the nuts and you'll feel better. haha
