What an exciting month this has been. I packed every single thing I owned into a U-haul truck and left Memphis, TN headed to my new home in Jackson, MS. As I reached Granada, MS I looked down to see the U-Haul was running only 50mph going down hill. With a quick call to the 1-800 number in my paper work I got a customer service rep that was nice enough to inform me that if it wasn't dead on the side of the road there was nothing he could do to help me. So with those words in my head I decided to hold it to the floor till something went boom. After 8 hours of driving a 3 hour trip and getting numerous "YOUR #1" gestures pointed at me by blue hair grannies I finally arrived at my new apartment in Flowood, MS a suburb of Jackson. When I went to unload my car off the tow dolly I quickly realized my entire car was covered in a nice coating of tranny fluid. The reason the truck was only doing 50 down hill and 35 up was because it had crapped all of it's fluids out the back door onto my car and passing motorist. No wonder why I was getting the middle finger not because I was going 35 on the interstate. O well the truck is now in the care of U-Haul.
With the move this month my brain really hasn't been on the audio scene it's been more on the Box you junk up and see if you can make it without breaking anything scene. So with that in mind I'm just going to supply an email to you I received from Ralph Randell of USACi .
USACI To Produce Regional Event at Six Flags Theme Park USACI Regional Director Glen Snyder announced today that the USACI New England Regional event will be held inside the Six Flags New England amusement park. "After a fantastic show with Six Flags Mexico late last year, we developed a program for Six Flags US that could bring USACI Regional Events to many Six Flags parks across the US." Says Snyder. The event will be held on September 13th and 14th, 2003 inside the main park entrance. "Our sponsors and exhibitors will have their booths right inside the gates, right on the midway!" exclaims Snyder. "The average park attendance for this date is over 25,000."
The New England Regional will include a USACI Sound off and USACI Car show. The awards Ceremony is to be held in the "Bat Theatre" and will be MC'd by Mike Outlaw and company. "I will be there for the World Record Attempts," says USACI president Ralph Randall. "But I am sure I can find some time to hit a few rides!"
