The Summer Slam event at Englishtown Raceway Park is one of the biggest events held on these grounds. With a custom car and truck show, bikini contest, bracket racing, swap meet, and hot body contest all crammed into one day there’s not much time to be bored. With the show getting more and more popular each year, it’s also cool to see the rides from previous years and how they have changed from year to year. The races went on all day with teams like DRT racing, Drag Turbo team, Nitto, Toyo Tires, Honda Power, TRD Toyota speed club, and many others going head to head to win there brackets and take home some cash prizes. The show was owned by the fully shaved rides with front-end swaps and taillight conversions. Big rims and body drops owned the truck section, and custom paintjobs from House of Kolor paint, to some of the cleanest Dupont colors where everywhere to be seen.
