Once the body was looking straight Jimmy would then drop his truck off with a local shop to bag it and set the frame on the ground. After a year of nothing but issues Jimmy decided that dragging frame just wasn’t going to cut it and he wanted to plant the rockers firmly on the ground instead. So with a call to Off the Chain Customs in Jackson, MS the Mazda would soon be sporting a new body dragging stance. The crew at Off the Chain decided that a 3” body drop was just what the Mazda needed, so with sawzall and welder in hand the body was firmly planted on the shop floor. After giving the previous bag job a once over it was decided that it would need to be rebagged also. So Off the Chain rebagged the front using Firestone 2500 bags with relocated radius arms to allow proper clearance. Out back a new 4 link was installed along with 2600 Firestone bags. For air on-demand 2 Viar 450s were plumbed thru (2) 3-gallon tanks keeping everything below the bed floor. Boyd Coddington Coddzilla would be Jimmy’s wheel of choice wrapped with 215/45/17 Kumho skins.

With the body planted and a fresh new paint job it was time to ensure that the interior was just as sanitary as the exterior. First order of business was to wrap the dash in gray tweed along with the door panels and headliner.
