Wednesday May 1st my brother and I packed up a 15ft van front box truck to be driven 2162.5 miles to Spanish Fork, Utah. The drive out was full of things to do, and stuff to see...but we didn’t see much of it. Wednesday we drove from 4pm until 1am and stopped for the night, Thursday I drove from 10am until 2am, and then Friday we drove from 11am until 11:30pm finally reaching out destination. The box truck governed at 75 so that made for some excitement along the way.

The rest stops on the way were less than amusing and we often used them either hovering or with our eyes closed. Every inch of Nebraska was the most boring state that we encountered on our quest for Utah. There were points in Nebraska were it looked like you could see 300 miles ahead of just flat land, like it was never going to end. Then we would come up on a hill and hope that at the other side of it there would be something else, something different. Crossing the top of the hill our hopes would be crushed when we only saw what seemed to be 300 more miles of flat mowed grass. Wyoming was a beautiful state, especially towards the ends were you can see mountains and canyons on either side of the road rather than miles and miles and miles of mowed grass like Nebraska. We got into Utah at night so we didn’t really get to see much of the mountains we drove over.
