Beneath the Spyders newfound exterior appearance, you will find the next step in the transformation of this Mitsubishi. Robert would ditch all of the stock suspension items only to replace them with some of a more high performance matter. A set of Koni struts would provide a smooth ride while surrounded by a set of Ground Control adjustable coil overs for the low stance. The coil overs can be found equipped with Eibach springs on all four corners. For added performance, the stock bushings where replaced with those provided by Energy Suspension. With the new suspension, it would only make sense to upgrade the stock binders. Ditching the factory calipers would leave room for the slotted and cross-drilled AEM rotors. The front would house 13 ½ inch rotors while the back utilized 11 ½ for ultimate stopping abilities.

You can easily see the new rotors through the 19x8 TSW Pin Drive wheels wrapped in Yokohoma AVS sport 235/35/19s on the front Pins and the 245/35/19 inch variety onto the rear. With an already beastie 3.0L V6 power plant, which is equipped stock in the Spyder, that just wasn't enough for play along the California streets. To bring out a few more horse and higher revs, a Holley Annihilator ignition would be installed and accompanied by set of yellow Vitek plug wires with matching plugs to help the spark.
