It was a cloudy morning when the show first began but this did not stop the hardcore custom vehicles to come out and show. One by on the cars and trucks came in roaring their engines along with some of the nicest motorcycles you can lay your eyeballs on. Bill Cox who is a popular promoter of shows here in the southeast hosts this show. Bill does not cut anything short when it comes to neither trophies nor his speeches during trophies. You just got to love it. Bill is serious and dedicated when it comes to his shows. When is the last time the promoter of a show went through and said "hey" to everyone that was exhibiting in the show? I can't remember. This definitely gives this show a sense of respect for the hard working individuals that customize their vehicles. I was stuck in Miami in a hurricane like weather when I decide to start my road trip up to Orlando. I jumped in the passenger side of my friends Supra and blasted off to Orlando to shoot the show. The drive should be a four-hour drive but my friend was in a trance after seeing "The Fast and the Furious". We made the trip in two and a half hours. Yeah, we flew. When I showed up to the show I met up with my friends from Acrophobia car/truck club along with some buddies that I have not seen in awhile from Lifestyles minis. It looked like everyone was getting ready to have a day of fun. I hung out with Mark Brown who is the owner of the body dropped brown Isuzu. Man, this is such a nice truck. He informed me that the truck is going to have some more mods soon. I couldn't get it out of him what he was going to do but you can believe that it will be killer once completed. Of course he drug it around a little. OK, a lot. As I was taking pictures, one thing was apparent. Everyone who had a Honda or a Jap made car was in their "Fast and the Furious" mode. With squealing tires everywhere, it was hard not to look at the imports burning out. I realized that this show was a nice time for everyone to hang out and catch up on old times. I like shows like that. You know, you had a long hard week and then on Sunday you go and hang out with your buds at a show. You catch up on each other's lives and crack some jokes. That is what I call priceless. Eddie
