With the looks out of the way, it was time to modify the suspension and give the car another whole new appearance. Swapping the stock wheels for a set of 17" Reflection Alda wheels wrapped in 205-40-17 Kumho tires was only the beginning. Chris is like most of us; he wanted to bring the car down to the ground. Utilizing strut bags in the front that were reworked to allow the car to lay and air cylinders in the rear demonstrated a few of the techniques Chris has learned over the years.

All in all, Silvey has taught us a thing or two about a ride you don't normally see on the street. He reminds us too that building something that stands out also takes the dedication and devotion of friends like Russel McClendon and Pat Read for some sick ideas and keeping things positive. Of course as many of us know to well, Chris also says he owes a lot of this to his Mom and Dad mostly for putting up with "all of his junk." Keep an eye out for Chris as he rolls through with his Severed Ties crew reminding everyone that a completely unique ride is possible.
