Getting things started on Flip’s Dakota the suspension would need to be reworked from stock to drop. A custom notch would be welded in along with a Pete & Jakes 4-link. Next Flip would install a 12 gallon air tank, Airlift Extreme bags, 2 Viair compressors and ½ inch airline. Flip’s Dakota would now be able to tuck the 20x8.5 Boyd Renegade wheels wrapped in 255/35 Kumho rubber.

With the suspension set to his liking the next item to be reworked would be the exterior. Keeping things simple the front grille would be fitted with a Trenz billet grille and the taillights replaced with an APC set. Next the tailgate handle would be shaved along with a Sir Michaels rollpan molded in. With the mods complete the Dakota top half was painted to silver
