Finally being satisfied with the current list of modifications the Taco was prepped and ready for paint. Jesse from Eurocraft Collision would then apply many coats of the Porsche Riviera blue PPG paint to bring the Taco to life. Now with being the big time magazine guy, Mike took the insight on product releases and know how to convert his Taco to some rubber burning stances.

For starters, Mike would drop off the Taco to the crew from EL Prototypes for some major performance quirks. While in their hands, a Magnaflow stainless 3-inch Manifold would be installed along with an 11psi T-3 Turbo. By means of the new engine upgrade, the influence of more fuel would be important, making sure to pass this along would be the use of a Holley fuel pump. The next step would be to install a LC Engineering Billet flywheel, which had been lightened to 11 lbs, along with an LC Engineering clutch disc and pressure plate. Helping to cool things off, an electric Flexalite cooling fan would then be installed. Maintaining the engines breathing would be important with the added power. To bring the air in, a custom intake system along with a K&N filter would be mounted. Providing the engines exhaust would be a 3-inch stainless system with the cat removed for added power. The exhaust system was raised above the frame rails to ensure there was enough allowed clearance at low stances. With an engine built like Mikes, ensuring a good spark is one of importance. Nology 10mm plug wires where installed along with a 120 amp custom alternator. Giving a little more kick, the ignition was advanced a few degrees. While handing the engine bay some glamour, the valve cover was chromed along with a few other random items.
