4 months after purchase the truck, John's visions would become blurred on many occasions. At Booger Bash in October of 1999 it was nearly totaled by a hit and run, and then it was yet rear ended again along with the front being squashed once I guess so it didn't feel left out. Knowing that he needed the low low to gain respect from his fellow Minitruckers, John decided to drop his S-10 off to the guys at Flawless Fabrications of Bethleham, GA. While in their hands many modifications would be performed to get the ride height down were it needed to be.

Starting with the rear end, the frame rails would be tubbed, boxed, notched and painted. Next a Pete and Jakes reverse triangulated 4-link would be installed to help the airbag set up bring the S-10 to the ground. Ensuring a good ride, Hal Billet QA1 shocks would be installed.
