When people mention Memphis, TN a few things usually come to mind such as BBQ, Home of the Blues and well of course the King himself Elvis. Memphis is also home to one of the most famous pieces of military history known to the fighting world. The Memphis Belle was a world class-fighting machine that saw more combat and completed more combat missions then any other Bomber in US history. Although the Belle took her last flight on July 14, 1946 that did not mean her mark on history was not been set in stone forever.
