When Chad Calcote from Brookhaven, MS sought out to build a 88 Nissan Hardbody, that was given to him by his dad he had one thing in mind, to build one of the cleanest Hardbody's in the nation. From the looks of it he has accomplished his goals. When Chad received the truck from his Dad it was about as bone stock as a Nissan could be. Chad's first order of business was to take the truck down to the bare frame and remove anything that would keep the truck from looking perfect. With all of the suspension removed a pair of 8" hydraulic cylinders were added to the front to get the HB off the ground once the factory torsion bars were removed. Out back another set of 8" cylinders were added to replace the factory leaf springs that were removed, except for the main and overload. The pumps were plumbed with stainless steel line and placed behind the seats inside the cab.
