Getting the exterior mods-rolling Scooter would tear down the Merc and begin cutting the roof. With the pillars cut and the roof sectioned to the correct proportion he would end up with a 4-½ inch chop top. Next Scooter would cut into the side skirts extending them 2 inches.

  Not yet complete he would then shave the doors along with smoothing out the trunk lid and molding in a set of ’76 Lincoln front marker lights in place of the stock taillights. With the body complete Scooter would then stick true to tradition and spray down the Merc in a nice flat black base.
