All of Marks dreams and visions for his truck came to a halt in May of 2000 when he was killed in an automobile accident while vacationing in Mexico. Facing one of the biggest burdens one could ever have put on there shoulders Marks parents, Larry and Vicki Zelfer; decided they would finish Marks Dream so that his dreams could live on with them despite there pain from the loss of a son. The Zelfer’s knew that it was Marks dream to one day own a show stopping custom and for the next few years they would focus all of there efforts on completing Marks Dream.

With the truck already rolling a 3” body drop and 2linked air ride suspension complete with 3” dropped spindles, 2 chrome air tanks and polished compressors the Zelfer’s were left to decide what they would do with the exterior of the truck. At the start of 2001 Larry and Vicki put there trust in Tim Parker at Street Boutique Customs to complete the bodywork needed to complete the exterior of the truck. What they came up with was to ditch the front-end sheet metal of the truck and replace it with the Cadillac front-end conversion (all metal). A Trenz Cadillac billet grille was installed next along with all clear Cadillac headlights.
