For the sound system I have a Kenwood MP3/CD player to be soon installed. One JL Audio 12w6 sub I would like to put in a fiberglass enclosure for the back of the trunk along with a clean & simple amp rack. I have MB Quart 6 1/2" seperates with competition passive X-overs to put in the doors, and 6x9's in the rear deck. Now all I need is to buy a good 5 or 6 channel amplifier to power everything and I'm set to start building my system. I'll be sure to take pics as I go along...

Update: 4/22/03 -I no longer plan to use the JL Audio 12W6 sub. Instead, I am currently designing a ported enclosure with six special mini 5 1/4" high excursion subs. The box plans were first designed and tuned on computer (scientific method). I just finished building a prototype, and now I hope to measure the output response(near field) to match the calculated response curve.
Ok, I know I gave a lot of tech talk about this sub enclosure, I decided give you a sneak peak of what I'm talking about so you don't think I'm full of it. Keep in mind that this is a prototype (acoustic model) for measurement only, the final enclosure will be fabricated out of fiberglass to form fit in the trunk...
