First, the door handles were shaved. Next, the Mitsu bumper was smoothed and a Toyota valance was added. A Mitsubishi Eclipse bubble was molded into the stock hood and the gas filler door was moved to the bed floor in the rear.  John Pritchard of Roanoke, Virginia handled the bodywork very nicely along with the owner. Next, John laid down the ’99 Sikkens Isuzu Copper/Orange Metallic base color. Before the paint could even dry, Shorty’s in Vinton, Virginia laid down the graphics using 14 different metallic paints. Finishing things off, APC clear taillights were added along with chrome Mitsubishi grille shell and billet insert from FBI.

Inside of Shane’s Mitsu, the same level of attention was paid as his Mitsu received the next stage of the process. Swink’s Upholstery of Dublin, Virginia recovered the ’93 Prelude bucket seats in gray and purple tweed. The dash was covered in the same tweed and mirror stainless and painted inserts were added to the dash. The gauges were also mirrored stainless. Everything else is Shane’s interior was also covered in either gray or purple tweed and finishing things off a Grant GT Polished Aluminum steering wheel was bolted up and billet oval mirror put in place.
