As you gaze at this cut up ride realize this was a 1938 Austin Bantam 5 window sedan body before these cutters got a hold of it. When Jeff started with this car he bought what was left of the body out from behind a welding shop in Tennessee as it sat on a 55 gallon drum with nothing but a shell of a body that had stick welded shut doors on it and rust about 3 inches all the way around and dents everywhere. This project was put on the back burner for a bit to be thought about and contemplated. June of 2004 rolled around and Jeff decided it was time for a new project something he had thought long and hard about. The Austin came out of storage and with it’s folded up door skins and severe rust everywhere it was started.
