The Mississippi Gulf Coast is known for its white sugar sand beaches and its Casino lined beachfront. But this year it was home to a show that was produced by the local media stations. I left Louisiana late Saturday because I'm a member of the Louisiana Air National Guard and we all know duty calls. But there was no way I was going to miss out on a show this close to home. I was lucky enough to have a good friend Jeremy and his girlfriend Amanda that wanted to go with me. I had already set up a cover shoot with Amanda for a good friend Wade Rigdons bad ass Nissan. So with a show to be covered and daylight fading fast we jumped in Jeremy's bad to the bone WRX Turbo AWD Subaru and we were off the tune of 100+ the whole 80-mile trip. As soon as we got to the show I was instantly in aw of the amount of imports and trucks that were there. I was extremely late getting to the show and had no time to kill. I quickly rounded up Wade and the Nissan and we were off to do the cover shoot. As I looked over my shoulder there must have been 500+ people watching as I shot the truck. I guess there is something about a half naked girl that draws a crowd. I know it had nothing to do with the truck. As soon as I was done with the Nissan I made my rounds snapping pics of some sweet imports and some clean trucks. I apologize that this coverage is so late after the show but for 6 months I have been leaving messages and emails with the promoter to get information on this show for the article. O well here it is anyway. It was a show I will be going back to next year.By: Ben Husser
