With the simple mods complete it was time to handle the bread and butter of the build up. The factory trim was first removed and de-textured then painted black to match the rest of the fiberglass work in the car. As far as mounting the deck they started with an abs plastic mounting kit, then modified it to allow the deck to sit flush in its mounts. The abs was then treated and wrapped in grill cloth and resin was applied and allowed to dry. It was then "slicked " out with body filler, spray filled and painted silver to match the aluminum trim used throughout the car and on it accessories.

The mounting kit was then screwed in from under the dash. The Head unit is a DVD player with a flip out screen. They would choose to use the crossovers built into the amps in order to show the flexibility and features of the amplifiers. Clarion DVH 920 Dolby Digital 5.1 mounted under the drivers seat. All adjustments are made via the source unit so we chose to locate it in an out of the way location.
MTX T6.5 adjustable coax was installed into the front doors while a set of MTX T6.6 6 ½" were installed into the rear doors. Another set of MTX T 6.5 coax would then be installed into the center console for the center channel. The center channel is mounted in the very front of the center console firing up and back towards the center of the listening area. It was then reinforced with fiberglass mat, sanded, spray filled and painted black. The center console also holds the system control switches, which include audio system, PS2, exterior neon, interior neon, and NOS arming switch.
