The door handles were shaved as well as the gas door, taillights and tailgate. For bonus points with the judges, the key locks were relocated and the third brake light shaved, with a Chevy Bowtie third brake light replacing it. The factory rear bumper was tossed and a steel roll pan welded in the slot that the bumper used to call home. To keep things legal, hot road billet taillights were custom fit into the roll pan. Sticking with the original hot rod theme, the door hinges were switched around, which allowed the S10's doors to swing in true suicide fashion.

Up front, a grille shell from a '96 Blazer was installed complete with composite headlamps and a Trenz billet grille insert. The factory back glass was removed, tossed and a lexan unit, complete with license plate box, was installed in its place. Next, a big hole was cut in the roof, allowing for the installation of a 40x24 Street Beat Sliding ragtop. Dennis also decided to ditch the factory mirrors and installed BMW M3 mirrors in their place. Finishing off things was a fiberglass bed cover. After Dennis' list of body mods was complete, he rolled the truck over to Harper's in Orlando, Florida where the entire truck was sprayed using '98 Volvo Saffron paint, then buffed to perfection.
