First on everyone's list would be to adjust the height of the vehicle. For this Kevin would redo the frame rails in the rear with a big c-notch utilizing a quarter inch plate that would be cut to fit. While in the back Kevin would custom build 31-inch ladder bars and panhard bar for a 3 link set up. Helping get off the ground Kevin would make use of a pair of Firestone 2600 airbags. The rear would then be swapped out with a Chevy 8.5, 10 bolt 1978 rear end with 3.73 limited slip and 3.73 ring and pinion. With the rear all set up, it was time to bring the front down to the same level. For starters the stock spindles would be junked for a set of Belltech 2 inch spindles.

A set of Firestone 26C airbags would be mounted into place found in the new lower tubular control arms. To allow the body down as close as possible, a 25-gallon gas tank would be remounted and raised between the frame rails in the rear. Two chromed Viair compressors pump air to the two color matched three gallon air tanks while four marine electric switches help run the air to the bags through out.

Keeping things moving forward Kevin would drop the Blazer off to Lenny Guillot and Travis Chauvin of Thibodaux/Houma, LA for some of their expertise.
