How ya'll is? It's June, the month that some minitrucerkettes thoughts turn to shows and getting married...or at least a new set of wheels! There are many ways for your better half to make your jaw drop....new skimpy swimwear, telling you "Honey, we REALLY need to get a set 22's for your truck" or "Honey, go ahead and spend the money we were saving for a house on that paint scheme you drew". But there is one phrase, that when told, would make a man literally speechless with joy..."Honey, we're going to be on Springer"...I mean, "Honey, I'm pregnant!" I was recently the recipient of this very news, and let me tell ya'll, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED!! I know that this is no big deal to some people, but it is to me. I also know that some people will say "How does this pertain to our lifestyle?" Well, sit back, relax, but don't take off your shoes because, man, I hate to say it but, YOUR FEET STINK...hehe.., and I will enlighten you as to how this effects me and my little corner of our lifestyle. The instant that the news registered, I began thinking, "I wonder how much it'll cost to tweed a baby seat?" and even better, "I wonder how much would it cost to make a stroller and matching car seat out of billet aluminum?" These are literally the first things I thought. Not, "I'm gonna be a Daddy!" or "GOOD LORD, what have I done now??!!", but how can I make or where can I find cool baby stuff? The next day, when the news finally sets in and you start making the phone calls to family and friends to share your joy, you start thinking about the things you do in a whole different light. I realized that I cuss entirely too much. I mean, I used to cuss enough to make a sailor blush, but I have really toned it down over the last couple years. You also think about the little things, like how clean you keep your place, and how you let the dishes pile up before you finally break down and clean them. Maybe all this is just me. Or maybe it is my fiancé bringing this to my attention...who knows? The next stop in my train of thought was to get married. Now I know this is an ancient institution that is frowned upon by a lot of people, but it is important to me that my child not be born outside of marriage. I am NOT calling people that do this bad or anything else derogatory, but it is important to my wife and I to be, so if anyone is offended, I am truly sorry.

We went to several jewelry stores and FINALLY, about 2 weeks ago, found a ring that shines almost as brightly as the woman who'll be wearing it. It's amazing the things that run through your mind when this happens...I am even considering selling my mini, which I have wanted as long as I can remember, to get something bigger for the wife and kids. Love makes you do strange things!Now ya'll know what's going on in my world, so let's take a look at some other things...how about dogs? How can people stand to let a dog lick them on the face? I mean, come on people, they eat their own feces, how can you let them lick your face?? Nah, how about movies and how I am so far behind in seeing them? I just got to see "Little Nicky" with Adam Sandler, and I gotta admit, I like the guy. I've seen everything he's done, even that crappy little ditty "Going Overboard". OK ok...I'll get back on track now...hehehe...I am just excited about everything that is going on in my world and haven't really thought much about the show scene or anything else the last couple of weeks. I will be at some shows, just not as many as I'd like, but I guarantee that will be different next summer, cause the baby will be here and I will bring it with me..gotta start them off early! If you see me at a show, you can't miss me, big guy in an Explicit Concepts shirt usually near the rest of the big guys in Explicit Concepts...just ask for me, I'll be around. Come up and shake my hand and say hi, I really like to meet the people that read my stuff, or at least know who I am and just want to see what's shakin.
