5. With the paint stripped from the metal, you will then need to apply a good amount of the Duramix. After applied put the door handle back in right away before the Duramix cures (couple hours). With the handle in place make sure to bolt it back in for stability. When the Duramix is cured, cut access away and cut down in grove about 1/8 inch leaving room for the Everglass to cure to the pot metal door handle and door. (If that step is skipped the chemical reaction between the Everglass and Duramix will cause swelling.)

6. Once the door handle is back in place and the ready for the Everglass, you will then need to grind the paint off the door. Make sure and get a good couple of inches around the door handle for an even bond of Everglass. 7. After the Everglass is applied, then sand down smooth and glaze over it with spot putty to take away any low spots in the work.
