At age 30 and working as a Customer Accounts Administrator, Pat is not the typical body dragger you would picture off hand. Well to bring everyone at ease, March of 2001 Pat found himself putting down cash on a '89 Ford Ranger. This isn't just any Ranger, but one, which was built by Jody Hall of the Drop Shop of Pikeville Kentucky.
Dragin' Ranger
Getting things going on the Ranger, Jody Hall of the Drop Shop located in Pikeville, Kentucky, would begin working the current height down to a respectable level. Starting with the rear, the frame rail would be notched for further suspension travel. Keeping things stable, Jody would install a custom 3-link with panhard bar. Gas charged shocks would be mounted for a smooth ride while the 2500lb bags would be mounted with custom brackets to allow altering heights on demand.

With the rear of the Ranger laying the undercarriage comfortably, it was now time to bring the front to the same level. Remounting the new gas charged shocks would make much needed room to mount up the 2500lb bags upfront. With the bags in place, at the lowest stance the height was now at a level one.
Not totally satisfied with the overall look of the ranger's current location on the earth, Jody decided that a 4-inch body drop was a must for dominating the low contests at any show in the scene.

After plenty of hard work and time put into the drop, it was now tucking much of the 17" Niche Runners that had been wrapped in 205-40 inch BF Goodrich radials.

To make sure the wheels would tuck in the rear, the stock tubs would be raised for added room.
