Knowing well enough that you couldn't just roll into a show and grab everyone's attention with "just" a body dropped ride, so keeping this in mind Jody would next get busy on the exterior of what would become Pat's new daily door dragger. Working from the front clip of the ranger many things needed to be changed up.  To allow space for the engine to breathe, a steel cowl hood would be bolted up.  The front grille would be replaced with that of a billet status.

To help smooth everything out, the fenders would be molded to the valance along with the cowl and body sides.   | Here you can also find a frenched in antenna. |
The front being smoothed out meant that the rest of the draggin' Ranger would also need the same attention. The door handles were shaved, and to keep things a little different, the key locks where left alone.
