Now that Jason had his hands on the car of choice, it was time to start tearing it apart. For beginners, the first thing to go would have to be the pieces that didn’t make sense to keep. Things like the door handles, moldings, taillights, and license plate box. To replace the taillights, Jason decided to french in 2 Chrysler Sebring 3rd brake lights. The next item to gather some attention of the welder and new materials would be the hood. With shaving the hood squirters and smoothing the under-side, it gives the car a whole new look.

After liking the looks of the smooth hood it was time to apply the same to the under-side of the trunk lid. After shaving the sides, front and back of the Civic, it was time to remove the body seams and add a power sunroof. Next on the agenda would be to bolt up a Wings West body-kit mixed with a Grill Craft grill and a set of projector headlights along with a stock 2-door coupe front bumper to give the front end a new over all look. Once the bodywork was complete, it was time to lay down the PPG Kawasaki green paint. Friends Tom Jacobs and Jason Haase performed the bodywork, while Matt Brown applied the paint.
