Now the SSC crew knew that a square body S-10 front clip just would not cut the mustard so they decided to graft a new 2000 Chevy S-10 front clip onto the truck. A donor 2000 dime gave its hood, fenders, bumper, grill and lights to complete the facelift. To ensure the hood would cover the power plant completely William built a custom hood that would tilt forward to gain access to the engine compartment.
